Brian Klatsky & Brendan O’Brien, Founding Partners
Brian and Brendan have been avid racing fans and owners since Brian’s days at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and Brendan’s days going to Saratoga with his father for as long as he can remember. They have been looking for years on different ways to share the thrill and excitement of thoroughbred racing without the burden of bills and uncertainty that comes with race horse ownership. After owning horses on their own and exploring the existing syndicate/partnerhips available in the market, they couldn’t find the right model with trusting horseman that minimized risk and maximized the experience.
As wealth managers, they wanted an elite racing experience to invest side-by-side with friends and family in a partnership that was fun and not saddled by unnecessary fees and large egos. The model would be free of mark-ups and other extraordinary fees built-in to other available partnerships.
With their network of successful and trusted farms, trainers, and horseman, they brought together a team of Braxton Lynch as the racing manager and the trainers Rusty Arnold, Vicki Oliver, and Phil Oliver to create BBN Racing. The partnership was structured to eliminate monthly bills and fully budget expenses through the horses 3 year old campaign with one initial capital commitment. Instead of receiving bills during their racing career, the objective was to return capital with purse winnings. After their 3 year old career, their racing careers would continue with BBN if they projected to be cash flow positive, otherwise they would be sold to preserve and return capital.

Rusty Arnold, Trainer
George “Rusty” Arnold, is a third generation horseman who grew up with horses in the famed Bluegrass region of Central Kentucky. Arnold attended the University of Kentucky before focusing full time on racing. Arnold is respected for his low-key nature and allowing his horses to do the figurative “talking.” He ranks 3rd among the all-time leading trainers at Keeneland and also holds three meet training titles. During his career, he has won over $65,000,000 in purse money with 1700+ wins including 17 Grade I winners which ranks him in the top 40 of all time winningest trainers in thoroughbred racing history.

Vicki Oliver, Trainer
Oliver Racing Stable was established in 1999 by the husband and wife tandem of Phil and Victoria Oliver. They have won over a combined 400 races and $16,000,000 in purse money. As multiple grade I winning trainers, Phil and Victoria have competed nationally at all the major race tracks in the United States and Canada. The barn currently stables at Payson Park in Indiantown, Florida from December though March and at Keeneland Race Track in Lexington, Kentucky from April to November. During the summer months the stable targets races around the country, most notably they had success in both in Del Mar and Saratoga.
Vicki operates a world class training stable with a hands-on personalized attention to detail for each horse. The racing stable maintains it’s high standard of quality by limiting its stalls to under 50. Owners have full access to the barn and direct lines of communication at all times. During their career, the Oliver Racing stable has never received a positive drug test on any horse. They have campaigned Grade I winners including Last Full Measure and Personal Diary along with other Graded Stakes winners Frivolous, She’s Not Here, Middle, Closing Range, and Direct Line. Vicki had her first Kentucky Derby runner in 2021 for BBN Racing with Hidden Stash. Their racing bloodstock has also gone on to very successful breeding careers as graded stake producing broodmares and several stallions.
